Charity is giving…often financial support, no matter how small, is critical in helping to effect change. Philanthropy is the ‘hand’ that allows for the lasting success of that change.

Generosity of spirit is invaluable!

Carrie is a fierce advocate for the empowerment of women, for the health and safety of women, and for the celebration of those who stand in defiance of oppression and abuse.

In this time of great uncertainty, through the necessary implementation of social distancing and work from home policies, it is easy to become isolated, fearful and disconnected from community. 

With that in mind, as we navigate the following weeks and possibly months ahead, let us be reminded of those who live with unpredictable circumstances as their norm. The fear is not only of COVID-19, but of mere survival. For those who struggle to provide the basic necessities required for the health of their children, COVID-19 protocols present new and evermore challenging realities.

Halifax Region Children's Aid Foundation (HRCAF) serves as a vehicle through which families in need may access funding for dental care, healthy food, computers, school supplies, tutoring and much more. At a time when our priorities have become polarized on our own health and well-being, let us not loose sight of those less fortunate. 

As a small independently owned business, we fully appreciate the fragility of the present climate. By working together and supporting one another, we will survive this, emerge stronger, wiser and hopefully more grateful.

Therefore, we will be donating a percentage of proceeds from all online and virtual sales to HRCAF, in support of vulnerable youth and children, until July 25.
